Among the hard drive categories we track, 1TB SATA drives continue to become more affordable, down 14% this month to $232, a huge drop from their spring price of $316. The 750GB SATA drive was down approximately 4% to $200. In tape drives, the cost of the SDLT 600 crept up by a little more than 4%, while LTO-2 and LTO-3 stayed flat. Media prices didn't see much movement, with Super DLT-tape I and II both still within a few dollars of their prices of six months ago.
